Made by Rawlings, so you know you are getting the best quality glove. The Rawlings Custom glove program allows the player to customize the glove to different color combinations and also personalize the glove with their name and number. Use the Glove Builder to design your glove.
TWO levels of Gloves are available in the configurator. They have a different price level and vary based on the leather used and other characteristics. Here’s the scoup from Rawlings:
Heart of the Hide ($339.95):
“Handcrafted from the top 5-percent of steer hides, Heart of the Hide leather tends to be the prime cut or center portion of the smaller hide and is usually thicker and more durable than other leathers, resulting in a firm glove that is easier to shape. The top-grade leather will allow the glove to mold to the player’s hand for a proper feel while maintaining the durability needed to play at the highest level.”
Pro Preferred ($449.95)
“Supple kip leather provides a tight grain structure for a smooth look and feel… Pro Preferred gloves feature an impeccable kipskin leather that breaks in to specific playing preferences, forming the perfect pocket. The high-performance sheepskin lining wicks moisture away, keeping the hand dry for better control when players need it most.”
Liberty Advanced (Softball) ($269.95)
“Endless Possibilities. Choose your pattern, your web, your colors, your name and much, much more. Build your custom glove to match your style. Game Ready Softball Patterns from Smash It Sports”
The Rawlings Custom Gloves feature:
• USA tanned shell leather and pro-grade lace
• Full grain, cushioned finger back linings
• Custom-fitting pull straps found on most softball patterns
• Moldable padding helps to form the pocket
The Rawlings Custom Glove sets the standard for elite softball and baseball players. These gloves require minimal break-in time while providing excellent shape retention. Most models include custom-fit hand adjustments and cushioned finger backs for more secure fit and better glove control. The palm lining leather is the same leather that is used for the outer shell of the glove. This allows the lining and the shell to break in at the same time creating the perfect pocket.
