These items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances. This includes custom and customized apparel, name/number customization, color/logo customization, and other personalized gear.

General Return Guidelines
- A return is sending back an unused item for a refund — common reasons include wrong fit or change of mind.
- Defective items in use: If an item becomes defective after use, the manufacturer is responsible. We do not accept returns for used or defective items. See our Warranty Information page.
- All original boxes, bags, packaging, warranty cards, and literature must be in new condition and included.
- Only retail sales on www.SmashItSports.com qualify for free returns. Wholesale orders, event sales, and third-party channel orders are not eligible.
- Free return shipping applies to US48 only. Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, US territories, and international orders are not eligible for free returns.
How to Return an Item — 4 Simple Steps
Complete the Return Form with your email, order number, and items to return. Must be submitted within 30 days of purchase.
Open Return Form ›- Use original packaging or a box close to the original size — oversized boxes may reduce your refund
- Use a sturdy outer box for protection during transit. Do NOT use the manufacturer’s branded box as the outer shipping box (e.g., shoe boxes, glove boxes, ball boxes). Place inside another box. Bat boxes are the only exception.
- Simple rule: if we did not ship it to you in just that packaging, do not ship it back that way. Violations may result in a refund reduction of up to 50% of the item price.
Bring your return to the nearest UPS or USPS location shown on your label. Keep your receipt and tracking number. Items must arrive back within 15 days of when the label was sent — late returns may be declined.

Due to fluctuating inventory, we cannot guarantee exchange item availability. We recommend purchasing the replacement item first to secure it, then returning the original per the policy above. We will issue a refund once the original is received and inspected.

If your item arrives new-in-box with internal damage but no visible damage on the outer shipping box, email info@smashitsports.com with photos of both the damaged product and the outer shipping box. Our team will respond promptly.

Frequently Asked Questions — Returns
How do I start a return at Smash It Sports?
Fill out the Return Form within 30 days of your purchase date. Include your email, order number, and the items you wish to return. Our Customer Service team will send you a Return Authorization Number (RA#) to get started.
What condition do items need to be in for a return?
Items must be completely unused and in their original condition with all original packaging, warranty cards, bags, boxes, and included literature intact and in new condition. Used items cannot be returned under any circumstances.
How long do I have to submit a return?
You must submit your Return Form within 30 days of your purchase date. Once your RA# is issued, items must arrive back to us within 15 days of when the label was sent. Late shipments may be declined.
Is return shipping free at Smash It Sports?
Free prepaid return labels are available on items labeled “Eligible for Free 30-Day Returns” for US48 orders only. Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, US territories, and international orders do not qualify for free return shipping.
For non-eligible items, choose a prepaid label (cost deducted from refund) or ship with your own trackable carrier.
Is there a transaction or restocking fee on returns?
A 3% transaction fee is deducted from all refunds. Avoid this by choosing a store credit refund — you will also earn an extra 5% bonus. Example: $300 order = $315 in store credit (minus any shipping fees, where applicable). Certain payment methods may not qualify for the bonus.
Route Package Protection fees and expedited shipping charges are non-refundable in all cases.
Can I exchange an item for a different size or model?
We cannot guarantee exchange item availability due to fluctuating inventory. We recommend purchasing the replacement item first to secure it, then returning the original. Once received and inspected, we will issue your refund.
Can I return custom or personalized apparel?
No. Custom and customized apparel — including items with name/number or color/logo customization — are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. If you have a quality or workmanship concern, contact us at info@smashitsports.com and we will make it right.
My bat cracked — is that a return or a warranty claim?
A cracked or broken bat that has been used is a warranty claim, not a return. Most bats include a 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty. Contact the manufacturer directly to file your claim. Visit our Warranty Information page for guidance. Do not ship bats to Smash It Sports for warranty claims — we hold them 30 days then dispose at our discretion.
What if I received the wrong item?
If we shipped a different item than what you ordered, please contact us immediately. We will cover all shipping costs and provide a prepaid label to swap the incorrect product for the correct one at no cost to you.
Can I return a wholesale or event-sale purchase?
Free returns apply only to retail orders purchased directly on www.SmashItSports.com. Wholesale orders, event sales, and third-party channel orders are not eligible for free return shipping.
What if my package is lost, stolen, or arrives damaged?
If your order included Route Package Protection. Route handles all claims for lost, damaged, and stolen packages. File a claim at claims.route.com. If you removed Route at checkout, Smash It Sports is not liable for any shipping loss or damage.
How long does it take to receive my refund?
Most returns are processed the same day we receive them. After processing, allow 48–72 hours for the refund to reflect on your credit card or original payment method.
