The Gem Gloves Softball Fielding Glove – Gem075 The Great Bambino is an absolute beauty. From the moment I took it out of the box, the quality and craftsmanship really stood out. The glove feels extremely high quality and durable, and you can tell it was made to be used and last.

One thing to know going in is that this glove definitely needs to be broken in. It is not game ready right out of the box, but so far, it has been very easy to form and start breaking in. The leather has a great feel to it, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how it develops as I continue working with it. I actually enjoy the break-in process because you can really make the glove feel like your own.

The design is what really makes this glove special. If you’re a fan of The Sandlot, this glove genuinely makes the movie come alive. The Great Bambino theme gives it an awesome nostalgia baseball feel, and the details make it stand out from your typical fielding glove. It has that show quality memorabilia look while still feeling like a glove you can actually take out and play with.

Beyond the looks, the glove has a great overall feel, plenty of structure, and a nice pocket that should only get better as it breaks in. It feels substantial without being awkward, and the quality of the materials gives me a lot of confidence that this glove will hold up Forever lol.

If you’re looking for a glove that combines quality, durability, personality, and a true piece of baseball nostalgia, the Gem075 The Great Bambino is definitely worth checking out. It’s not a “take it out of the package and play” glove, but the break-in process has been easy so far, and I think it’s going to be an absolute gamer once it’s fully formed.

I couldn’t be happier with the Gem Gloves Game Ready Softball First Base Mitt, Gem142 in Wheat Field. I got the 13.5" model for right-hand throwers, and it has been an awesome glove from the start.

The durability really stands out. It feels built to hold up and handle the demands of playing first base without sacrificing comfort or performance. Even though it’s a 13.5", the glove doesn’t feel big or bulky at all. It feels surprisingly natural on the hand while still giving you an amazing amount of scoop ability. You can really appreciate the extra reach when picking balls out of the dirt.

This is a true first baseman’s mitt. The size, shape, pocket, and scoop ability are exactly what you want from a first base glove. It gives you the confidence to make those tough picks and keep plays alive.

Definitely a 5-star glove, and I’d highly recommend it to any softball first baseman looking for a durable, game-ready mitt with great scoop ability.

Ordered this new USA Blackout X in 27oz and got two days after it was released. Went and got some BP in, about 15 hits off a high tee set up and another 30 or so off a soft toss machine, all hitting Dudley Hycon Thunder ZN 52's. Bat initially felt lighter than my Too Hefty 26oz which does have a heavier end load, but this Short Porch feels great through the zone. The spin tech is no joke. Been working on my cut swing for more back spin and this really puts some spin on the ball. Compared to my two other game bats, the grip on this one felt much better as well. Gamed with it that same night (coed rec) hitting in a slight headwind, hit two to the fence (300') and a hard line drive between 3rd and SS. Let my teammates try it out and they all liked it. The spin tech did pick up dirt after a couple AB, but a quick wipe down with a wet microfiber towel and it was back to its original feel. Gamed with it throughout the last week of league and our end of season tournament. Just starting to open up and get even better!

As always, quality quality quality got a size medium for my wife she is five foot four the gloves fit her nicely. She loves the feel of them and of course she loves the design.

Glove is really nice quality got my wife the 12.5” handles the 12” and 11” ball 🥎 nicely definitely needs to get worked in but I personally like that. Then you can mend it to your shape and how you like it to close. Playing some catch and putting the ball in the pocket and rubber bands. Colors are beautiful though and the shape is top notch. Thank you Smash it Sports for the quality products!
