“Crushed-Sub” is a style of apparel offered by SIS.
It allows for beautiful, full-color and full-print style prints onto white or grey polyester dri-fit shirts and other articles. The up-side is a lower-cost article (compared to a traditional sown die-sub jersey) produced in shorter time-frame. The byproduct of this printing method is possibility for “tiger-striping” on the shirt where ink has not been pressed into the shirt due to slight overlapping of fabric as it is run through the press. This effect can happen anywhere on the shirt but is more prevalent near the sleeves and collars.
Tiger-striping may be more visible on some designs more than others. We design styles to minimize the appearance of this effect, but each shirt is hand-made and imperfections are part of the overall product like any hand-made article.
